In 1977, Jack changed career paths and became a financial consultant with Loeb Rhoades, Shearson and their successors, Citi Markets and Smith Barney. It was at Smith Barney that he met Jeff Eagle, and, in 2007, they partnered to open the Intracoastal Family Office. Jack grew up as a native New Yorker. He and his wife, Merry, have lived in Florida since 1976 and reside in Palm Beach Gardens. They have two children and four beautiful grandchildren, all now living in South Florida.
